Remote Support
Is Remote Support Access Safe?
Most people who own computers have granted remote access to a computer technician at one point or another. While it may seem like a security breach to grant remote control or remote viewing over your systems, it’s actually no less secure than allowing someone to log-on in person.
Programs like Microsoft's Team Viewer don't actually install, they just 'run once' in memory, when you exit, the program is gone.
ONLY GIVE REMOTE ACCESS TO SOMEONE YOU KNOW AND TRUST - NEVER TO A STRANGER WHO CALLED YOU ON THE PHONE - NEVER TO A STRANGER WHO SENT YOU AN EMAIL OUT OF THE BLUE - REMEMBER... STRANGER DANGER!
